Durham City Run

The peninsula on a hill once again hosted the Durham City 5 and 10k with a surprisingly similar course to the previous year. both races tackled a range of savage hills with a long demanding drag up to the cathedral. the steepest of the hills which was tackled after 600 metres of the 5k and about 3k into the 10k

The race as a whole was described as "as painful as childbirth in the sense you forget how much it hurts" by Carol.

Not entirely sure that will be used in official marketing however we can only hope.

Either way the hills took their toll with several of us suffering in the second half their race. it was a very enjoyable night by all who took part
