Weekend Round up 15/3/26
15 March 2026
Signals Relays - Hetton Lyons Country Park
The second attempt at the signal relays due to the postponement earlier in year. thankfully warmer than previously and lots of new faces to Hetton filling up teams in a slightly depleted race given the new date. it was again (without fail) another year of hearing "I shouldn't have went as fast before the hill" "the hill is actually quite steep" seemingly everyone remembers the lake... less so the hill. Despite this some improvements on previous years for those returning and smiles all around.

English Schools Cross Country Championships - Sefton Park
The last championship of the cross country season brought Hatti and Zarah a relatively short trip to Liverpool. for anyone who has run at the European trails will be familiar with course. It was flat, firm and short. Given this isn't a course that either would have picked given the choice both ran gutsy races and placed 1st and 3rd Counters for Durham
