Weekend Round Up 11/10/26
North East Harrier League - Eltringham Farm
The second fixture of the season brought the toughest test of the the harrier league can in very front loaded calendar difficulty wise. Sharp long hills, unforgiving uneven terrain, rocks, fences to jump, mercilessly firm ground were just a few of the challenges. After the incredibly sad news the evening before regarding the passing of Bill Mcguirk. Tributes were paid before the start of each race. In terms of the races itself it was a case those who navigated the bottleneck on the first lap the best were the ones who positioned highly. So in affect lots of races within a race occurred off the back of the bottlenecks.
Those for this race was they first of cross country, congratulations, it only gets easier from here on in.
